At 05:00, Ultravasan 90 departs Sälen, sending runners toward Mora along the historic Vasaloppet route. The Vasaloppet Running Races form a Swedish trail-running weekend centered on this course, offering 90 km, 45 km, 30 km, 10 km, and relay events. The 90 km race crosses forests, marshes, countryside, narrow trails, prepared tracks, and gravel roads, with sunrise visible over the marshes near Smågan. As Scandinavia’s largest ultra trail race, Ultravasan 90 has a 15.5-hour cutoff.
