It is based near the 64th Street park entrance, with parking accessible via the First Landing State Park Boat Ramp. Most of the course is off-road, featuring roots, bridges, sandy sections, rolling terrain, and approximately 300 feet of climbing. Runners have four hours to complete the race. Entry includes a T-shirt, a finisher beanie, donuts from Glazed And Infuzed, coffee post-race, downloadable course photos, and awards for top overall runners, junior, masters, grand masters, and super masters categories. Winding Way Run Co. also uses the event to support AIDNOW with a donation.
