Run Stephenson County
SA OKT 17
Run Stephenson County begins and ends at the Jane Addams Trailhead in Orangeville, Illinois, offering a 5K, 10K, half marathon, and cycling fun ride. This is an annual YMCA fundraiser, with entry fees supporting reduced-cost access to YMCA programs and memberships for children, families, seniors, and neighbors. The half marathon features a flat start and finish, with rolling hills in the middle miles. The 5K and 10K courses are designed for runners aiming for fast times. The paved, certified route follows the Jane Addams Trail and local farmland roads, including chip timing, aid stations, and porta-potties. Participants receive a tech shirt, half marathon finishers are awarded medals, top finishers receive trophies, and the finish area provides food, vendors, and a close-knit community atmosphere.
National Sweetest Day
SA OKT 17
National Sweetest Day marks the conclusion of the Wisconsin Trail Assail Series in Nashotah, Wisconsin, coinciding with the National Sweetest Day holiday. This event offers trail running and walking options: 5K, 10K, and half marathon distances, along with a 1K for children under 10. The event typically hosts 100 to 500 participants, taking place within Nashotah Park. The course features wide, maintained trails covered in wood chips. Over 90% of the race unfolds within the park's wooded areas, passing Forest Lake and Grass Lake. The terrain is characterized as fast and flat, suitable for trail runners seeking less technical challenges on longer distances. Families are included, with children in the 1K receiving their own bibs, and this kids' race is complimentary for registered parents.
Haunted Hustle Run
SA OKT 24
The Haunted Hustle is a Halloween-themed race day held at KEVA Sports Center in Middleton, Wisconsin, with the start and finish lines at the same location. The event offers a half marathon, 10K, 5K, 5K dog jog, 5K walk, and a kid's run, suitable for runners, walkers, families, and participants with a dog. The race names reflect the theme, such as the Monster Dash, Haunted Half Marathon, Terror 10K, Run For Your Life 5K, Great Pup-Kin Run, and Zombie Walk 5K. The Middleton races begin in a sequence on a Saturday morning, starting with the kids' Monster Dash, followed by the longer and shorter distance races departing a few minutes apart. Costumes are encouraged, but standard running attire is also acceptable. The finish area features live music and refreshments, contributing to a Halloween festival atmosphere rather than a simple road race. A separate Haunted Hustle 5K run/walk takes place in Jefferson City, Missouri, with proceeds benefiting the Sneaker Project.
Chilly Willy Winter Run Series - SEVEN Events!
SA NOV 7
The Chilly Willy Winter Run Series features seven events held in Wisconsin between November and March. The series focuses on cold-weather running, offering 5K and 10K races at most locations, alongside a walking series and two half marathons throughout the season. Presented by Silver Circle Sports Events, LLC, the series allows half marathon participants to remain in contention on days without their chosen distance; they are placed in the 10K category for those events. Rucking, which involves hiking with a weighted backpack and originates from military training, is now available at all events as a lower-impact fitness choice.
Bucks & Does 13.1 Pointer
SA NOV 14
The Bucks & Does 13.1 Pointer is a Wisconsin race that uses deer-season wordplay. Runners can select a 5K, 10K, or half marathon, named the 5-Pointer, 10-Pointer, and 13.1-Pointer, respectively. The event takes place in November, serving as preparation for Wisconsin's deer season. It also offers a 5 Pointer Walk, 5K Ruck, 10K Ruck, a free Bambi Run for children, and an early start option for the half marathon. The course specifics are not detailed, but the race strongly embraces its theme. Participants receive a wooden finisher medal known as a woodle. Deer puns are incorporated throughout the event, and runners are informed that they may see actual deer along the course or within the surrounding woods. The name originated from a community naming competition, where "Bucks & Does Fifty Pointer" was the winning entry before the event's current lineup was established around the pointer-distance format.
Trailbreaker
SO APR 4
Trailbreaker is Waukesha’s running event, held annually in Wisconsin since 1993. It offers a marathon, half marathon, 10K, and 5K run/walk, accommodating marathoners, shorter-distance runners, walkers, and local families. The event began with a marathon, half marathon, and 5K, later adding the 10K. Since 2009, the Park Foundation of Waukesha, a volunteer-led nonprofit, has managed the event, with proceeds supporting city parks, trails, recreation programs, and the urban forest. The marathon begins in a downtown park, follows the Fox River Corridor through Waukesha, and connects with the paved Glacial Drumlin Trail. On the Lapham Peak route, runners leave the pavement around mile 11.3 for a rugged 2.36-mile section of the Ice Age National Trail, ascend to the 40-foot Lapham Peak Tower, ring the bell, and return toward Waukesha. This route gains 438 feet from the start to the tower's summit. If snow, ice, or wet trail conditions affect the rough section, the race can use an alternate certified marathon route that stays on the Glacial Drumlin Trail toward Waterville Lake, providing a flatter option.

Race for Freedom 5K Run/Walk, Race for a Place to Call Home und der Festival Foods Turkey Trot Janesville sind da so unsere Fixpunkte.
