Der Bay Front Run startet und endet am Bayfront Boulevard in Hercules, Kalifornien, direkt neben dem Bay Front Trail. Dieses jährliche Community-Rennen bietet 5K, 10K, einen 1 Mile Run/Walk und einen Kids Fun Run an. Die Hauptläufe starten morgens, die Kinderläufe sind für später geplant. Der 5K und 10K sind mit Chip-Zeitnahme und Wertung, während die kürzeren Distanzen für Walker, Familien und kleine Kinder gedacht sind. Die Strecke geht von Sanderling und Bayfront den Bayfront Boulevard entlang bis zum Bay Trail Eingang am John Muir Parkway. Dann geht's den Trail durch Hercules Richtung Rodeo, bis zum Wendepunkt am Ende des Bay Trails. Der 10K läuft diese Strecke zweimal. Die Veranstaltung unterstützt die Hercules Education Foundation. Nach dem Lauf gibt's das Bay Front Festival mit Musik, Food Trucks, lokalen Geschäften, Unterhaltung und Community-Organisationen. Zur Auswahl stehen ein 5K Wicked Wine Run, ein 1K Wine Walk oder eine Kombi-Option, falls du beides machen willst. Das ist super für Läufer, die einen kurzen Wettkampf suchen, und für Walker, denen es hauptsächlich um die Weinberge und die Verkostungsstopps geht. Die Strecken führen durch die Weinberge. Beim 1K geht's an vier Weinproben-Stationen von Partnerweingütern vorbei. Wer den 5K schafft, bekommt im Ziel ein Gratis-Glas Wein. Danach steigt eine Party mit Live-DJ, Food Trucks, zusätzlichem Wein zum Kaufen und Spielen. The Reservoir Dogs Trail Run is an October trail race held at San Pablo Reservoir, located near Orinda in the East Bay. All race distances commence and conclude at the San Pablo Reservoir Visitor Center. Participants can select from 5K, 10K, half marathon, or 35K distances. The event has a participant cap of approximately 300 individuals across all races. Inside Trail Racing organizes this event. The longer distances feature a 6.5-hour time limit, maintaining the structure of a genuine trail race as opposed to a casual reservoir run. The course's distinctive feature is its complete circuit around Briones Reservoir using EBMUD trails, incorporating segments typically accessible only with permits. Expect a mix of moderately technical dirt paths, open fire roads, undulating hills, wooded single-track, winding single and double-track sections, exposed ridgelines, and expansive vistas of the watershed. The 10K, half marathon, and 35K races involve less elevation gain compared to many other Inside Trail events, allowing for faster times while still providing road runners with a true trail challenge. Aid stations are equipped with gels, trail mix, salty snacks, fruit, Coke, and Stroopwafels; however, participants must carry their own water between stations. Finishers receive a tech shirt and a medal, age-group victors are awarded trophies, and one participant receives the unique "Dead Last Finisher" award. Notably, dogs are prohibited despite the race's name.

Der Reindeer Run/Walk ist ein jährlicher Weihnachtslauf in American Canyon, California, der Anfang Dezember stattfindet. Es gibt einen 5K Run/Walk und einen 10K Run. Die Veranstalter bewerben den Lauf auch auf der Meet Me in the Street Gemeinschaftsmesse in American Canyon, die jeden zweiten Mittwoch im Monat von Juni bis September stattfindet. The Beermazing Race introduces a pub-challenge element, sending teams to visit five brewers between early and late afternoon, with limited capacity noted by organizers as a reason for potential sell-outs.

The route follows the San Francisco Bay Trail, offering open views across the bay toward the Golden Gate Bridge, the Bay Bridge, and Mt. Tamalpais. The race name references Richmond’s World War II home front history, when hundreds of ships, including Victory ships, were built in the area, and the nearby Ford assembly plant shifted from car production to military vehicles. Runners can also combine this with the Breeze to Victory race for the B2V Double, receiving a combined “mega medal” with a special middle piece for completing both events.

The Artesa Wine Run 5k is a timed 5k held at Artesa Vineyards & Winery on Henry Road in Napa, approximately one hour from San Francisco. Participants select one of two morning start times during registration, dividing the day into smaller waves rather than a single mass start. The event centers on the winery experience alongside the run. Following the 5k, attendees may partake in wine tasting, explore the Spanish-style architecture, and sample tapas paired with the wines.
