The 45th annual John Wall Memorial honors John Edward Wall, an accomplished track athlete, Navy veteran, and Striders member. The classic 5,280-foot distance covers four laps of the Annapolis High School track. Heats are based on estimated finish time, with the fastest runners in the final heat to minimize lapping and passing. This year's event is at Annapolis High because the Severna Park track is being resurfaced.
