Champagne 5K 2027

The Champagne 5K takes place on New Year's Day at Bridgeway Station in Simpsonville, South Carolina. The start and finish areas are located around the station complex. The main event is a 5K, and the event also includes a 200 m run for children before the adult race begins around midday. It is open to runners of all ages, though the champagne at the finish is for participants 21 and older. The course is certified and the event is USATF sanctioned, ensuring a properly measured race. The theme centers on the bubbly: participants will find a sparkling cider water stop on the course and complimentary champagne at the finish line for those 21 and older. The day also features live music, announcers, hype-man JDew, awards, complimentary professional photos from B.Knox Photography, and a moisture-wicking race shirt.
