The Mental Health Ultra Marathon is a trail event held in Newnan, Georgia, starting at 155 Millard Farmer Road in early November. Participants can select a 50K, half marathon, or 10K race. All distances utilize the same approximate 6-mile single-track loop, which features rolling hills, sections suitable for running, and roughly 450 feet of elevation gain per circuit.
The 50K covers five loops, the half marathon requires two loops, and the 10K consists of a single loop. Consequently, the start-finish area also serves as the primary aid station for the duration of the event. Participants are instructed to bring their own water and nutrition for each lap. The race is organized in conjunction with Coweta County Parks & Rec, with all proceeds directed to the AnotherWay Foundation for Pathways Center for Mental Health. These funds will aid in providing counseling and therapies, including art, pet, and horticultural therapy, for children, adolescents, and adults.
