Mermaid Open Water Swim 2026

Mermaid Open Water Swim is an annual ocean swim at Stuart Beach Park in Stuart, Florida, with races for several comfort levels in open water. Swimmers can choose the Two Mile Swim, Mile Swim, Half Mile Swim, or the Lil' Mermaid Splash, a 200-yard swim aimed at a shorter-distance field. The event is open to all ages and is built around organized beach swimming rather than a pool format. It also includes an Any Distance Virtual Swim for people who want to swim on their own course, while the in-person lineup gives experienced open-water swimmers and newer participants a way to share the same beach event without all racing the same distance.
