The Resolution Relay: B.Y.O.B. is a 13.1-mile half marathon relay held in Boring, Oregon. It begins at the Boring Grange at 9:00 AM PST. Participants can form teams of four, three, or two runners, or complete the half marathon individually. For three-person teams, one runner will cover two legs of the course, while the other two runners each complete one leg. Relay participation is open to individuals aged 8 to 100, and the individual half marathon is for those aged 13 to 100.
The race embraces the "Bring Your Own Baton" concept, requiring relay teams to supply their own unique baton. An award will be given for the most distinctive baton. Costumes are also a feature of the event, with contests for both relay teams and individual runners. Teams must submit a photograph of themselves in costume on race morning for judging. Prizes are awarded to the top male, female, and mixed relay teams in each size category, as well as to the top male, female, and non-binary individual finishers. Teams of three or four are also responsible for providing one volunteer, thus assisting with event staffing.
