Run with Scissors 2026

Run with Scissors begins and ends at Riverdale Regional Park in Brighton, Colorado. All races start at 7:00 a.m. during the spring. The series offers runners three distance options: a half marathon, a marathon, and a 50K. A 9-hour time limit applies to all three distances, catering to long-distance runners seeking an extended period on the course rather than a brief, speed-focused event. The race honors its name with a custom scissors-shaped medal. Finishers also receive a race-specific wicking beanie and a 16-ounce pub-style drinking glass. A portion of the proceeds benefits Almost Home Inc., a nonprofit charity. Previous events featured Darla’s vegan chili, prepared with sweet potato, quinoa, black beans, kidney beans, onion, garlic, tomato sauce, and garlic-and-herb pasta sauce.
