The UAE Healthy Kidney 5K Run is a January 5K in Miami, starting early in the morning and finishing at Regatta Park. It raises money for the National Kidney Foundation of Florida, with all race fees donated directly to the organization, which works on kidney disease prevention, medical innovation, and support for local kidney patients and families.
The finish area becomes a community festival with live entertainment, giveaways, raffle prizes, a photo booth, and Emirati cultural experiences. The race honors Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the UAE’s first President and a kidney transplant recipient, and it is backed by Zayed Charity Run and the UAE Embassy in Washington, DC. Runners receive a tech shirt and finisher medal, while the fastest overall men and women race for cash prizes, and age-group awards are given for participants under 9 up to the 60-64 group.
