Wickenburg's Wild West Run 2027

Wickenburg's Wild West Run takes place at Sunset Park in Wickenburg, Arizona, offering a half marathon, 10K, 5K, a one-mile kids' fun run, and a virtual option. The longer races begin early: the half marathon at 6:30 AM, followed by the 10K and 5K. The kids' run starts later from the same park. Both runners and walkers are welcome, accommodating those competing and those enjoying a desert morning on foot. The adult races follow an out-and-back course heading east from Sunset Park on a multi-use path. The 5K turnaround is just before Vulture Mine Road. The 10K and half marathon runners proceed south, with Vulture Peak in view and a gradual ascent toward their turnarounds. The 10K turns just past Los Caballeros Golf Course, and the half marathon continues an additional 3.45 miles before returning, offering a view back over Wickenburg. The kids' run is a straightforward one-mile out-and-back on the same path, with no intersections and one adult permitted per child.
