Amy's Great Ocean Road Gran Fondo is a 122 km road cycling event held in Lorne, Victoria, along the Great Ocean Road. Participants have the uncommon opportunity to cycle the entire route with no traffic. A mandatory online safety briefing is required before the event. Support is provided on the course by lead vehicles, neutral mechanics, medical teams, SAG wagons, feed stations, first aid points, and rest stops.
The route begins in Lorne, ascends into the Otway Ranges, crosses a section of the Great Ocean Road, and concludes on Lorne's main street. It features 1,869 m of elevation gain, with two significant ascents: one shortly after the start and another in the latter half. The highest elevation reaches 569 m above sea level before the descent towards the coast, offering views of Bass Strait. The participants vary: some focus on completing the distance, others pursue personal bests or ride with friends, and some compete for victory.
