About
The Darwin Triathlon Club Mixed Relay Triathlon is a club relay held at Lake Alexander in East Point, Northern Territory. Each team consists of four individuals, with two male and two female participants. Every athlete completes a short triathlon leg before passing to the next teammate. The format is Enticer distance, meaning each leg is compact: a 300 m lake swim, a 5 km bike ride, and a 1 km run.
The race is organised by Darwin Triathlon Club and sanctioned by AusTriathlon. Lake Alexander serves as the event's hub, located on Alec Fong Lim Drive. The swim takes place in sheltered lake waters, avoiding open sea. The short legs make the relay suitable for newer triathletes, and the mixed-team structure provides club members with a race focused on pacing, order, and teamwork rather than a lengthy solo effort.
