Sandy Beach is the anchor here: kayaks on the water early, registration done before the Dash, then straight into training. The Saturday AM Dash is exactly what the note says, “A group of kayakers who meet” each Saturday, more club habit than a large-event production.
The course detail is simple from a racer’s point of view: launch, dash, regroup, train. It is paddling-focused, with kayakers the natural crowd, but the invite says “All welcome.” The best quirk is the fixed finish to the morning: Coffee and slice at 9.00am, which tells you plenty about the pace and personality of the session.
