Yamba Triathlon

Whiting Beach anchors the Yamba Triathlon, lending it a relaxed coastal character thanks to the Clarence Valley coastline. Under NX custodianship since 2017, it has become a community staple, a multisport weekend where serious competitors, novices, families, and children gather in the same venue without an overly corporate feel. The competition centers on river swims, transitions, bike legs, and runs, with events catering to younger participants and adults tackling longer distances. Expect a welcoming crowd, numerous volunteers and staff, and a finish-line atmosphere influenced by families supporting children as much as by athletes aiming for personal bests. A highlight is the opportunity to compete while appreciating Yamba’s natural surroundings.
