2026 Saskia Says Tri

Saskia Says Tri is a beginner triathlon held at Saanich Commonwealth Place on Elk Lake Drive in Victoria, British Columbia. The event begins early with a 500 m swim in the Commonwealth Pool, followed by a 20 km bike ride and a 4 km run. The distances are suitable for first-time participants, offering the complete swim-bike-run format. Transition takes place in the Commonwealth Pool parking lot, simplifying logistics. The bike course consists of two loops on Elk Lake Drive, featuring professional traffic control. The run follows a portion of the bike course before heading into nearby residential streets with slight inclines around the pool. This event is designed for those new to triathlon, including supported swim logistics, knowledgeable volunteers, food at the finish line, a swim cap, and custom socks. It also supports local charities; participants donating to Saanich Fire Fighters Charitable Foundation or End2End are eligible for a grand prize revealed post-race.
