Run Berounka Run is a 130 km running relay following the Berounka river, held in October from Újezd u Svatého Kříže to Prague. Teams consist of three to six runners, with a limit of 80 teams. The event emphasizes shared pacing, handovers, and progressing eastward throughout a long day, rather than a single runner completing the entire course.
Most of the course is trail, featuring approximately 3000 m of total elevation gain, indicating it's more than a simple flat run into the city. Individual runners may participate in the Ultra category, which has its own separate limit. Relay teams are equipped with GPS tracking and a mobile application to monitor their current runner, view results, coordinate the next exchange point, and get updates from the organizers during the event.
