Vodafone Běh na 5 km

The Vodafone Běh na 5 km is a 5K race held in České Budějovice, as part of the Mattoni Running Festival České Budějovice. It begins at 15:30 on the city’s main square, the second largest square in the Czech Republic. The race utilizes a certified course that is entirely closed to traffic. While the distance is suitable for newer runners, it is organized as a complete city event, featuring chip timing, pacers for common finish times, refreshment stations, medical support including AEDs, and a finisher’s medal. The course winds through the historic center of České Budějovice, showcasing old buildings and local landmarks instead of anonymous roads. Approximately 1,550 runners are registered for the race. The event provides a bag drop, toilets, changing facilities, showers, post-race massages, and online results accessible via email or WhatsApp. Music along the course contributes to a festival atmosphere. Optional additions include an adidas race shirt and medal engraving of your finish time.
