The ZfS Münster-City-RUN is an evening road race in Münster, Germany, with 5 km and 10 km options through the city centre. Both races start and finish on Prinzipalmarkt by the town hall, so the event sits right in the old heart of the city rather than out on a park loop or suburban road. It is part of the Westmünsterland-Laufserie, and the schedule is built for short-distance runners, with the 5 km going first and the 10 km following later in the evening.
The course is flat and lap-based: the 10 km uses five laps, while the 5 km uses two laps plus a shorter final section. The route was remeasured under AIMS rules with the Jones Counter method, and the event is registered as a Category F World Ranking Competition, so performances can count for international best lists. That makes it useful for runners chasing a fast, properly certified time, but the affordable youth entries and short distances also make it accessible for students, club runners, and local participants.
