B2Run Hannover

B2Run Hannover is a 6.5 km run around the Maschsee in Hannover, Germany, for teams from local businesses, associations, and institutions. This event is the Hannover leg of the national B2Run corporate run series. Approximately 11,000 participants from over 500 companies take part annually, with wave starts used to manage the field onto the course in groups. The route begins near the HDI Arena on Rudolf-von-Bennigsen-Ufer. It circles the lake once via Rudolf-von-Bennigsen-Ufer and Karl-Thiele-Weg, concluding inside the Heinz von Heiden Arena (formerly HDI Arena). Runners, walkers, and Nordic walkers are welcome, emphasizing colleagues sharing a finish line over competitive racing. The Hannover event, which began in 2009, features a stadium finish that highlights the short lake loop.
