The 24-Stunden-Spendenlauf Hannover is a 24-hour charity relay race in Hannover, Germany. It consists of repeated 6 km laps around the Maschsee, running from Friday evening to Saturday evening in July. The start and finish line is at the Maschseequelle, the Sport-Club Hannover clubhouse located by the lake. Both walkers and runners participate in this event, organized in conjunction with Sport-Club Hannover e.V. This marks the race's eighth edition.
Teams of 2 to 12 individuals are responsible for covering the entire 24-hour duration. Solo participants select their preferred start time, pace, number of laps, and team affiliation before being assigned to groups of at least two. The final running order is published shortly before the event begins. The atmosphere resembles a club running festival more than a typical road race. Registered participants receive complimentary water and bananas, and all attendees contribute to stocking an international buffet. Guests may partake in the buffet for a small donation, and the weekend concludes with a communal closing party following the final laps.
