89. Waldkater Cross 2026

Waldkater Cross is a small cross-country race in Melchiorshausen, near Weyhe in Lower Saxony. All courses are run entirely on forest paths. The event is located just off the B6 between Syke and Bremen, by the Leeste-Ristedt junction opposite the Waldkater restaurant, and is supported by AOK Niedersachsen. The programme begins with a 1.2 km children’s race, followed by a 2.6 km youth race, a 4.2 km middle-distance race, and an 8.4 km long race for adults up to the oldest masters categories. Runners can use Syker Strasse 55 for navigation. Changing facilities are available on site, and parking is directed to the roadside strips along the federal and state roads, not the restaurant car park.
