DATAGROUP Triathlon Nürnberg

DATAGROUP Triathlon Nürnberg takes place in August in Nuremberg, Bavaria, centered on Wöhrder See. Participants can select a Sprint race (500m swim, 20km bike, 5km run) or a Short race (1.5km swim, 40km bike, 10km run). Both distances are also available as relays, allowing teams to divide the swim, bike, and run segments. The swim occurs in Wöhrder See, the cycling portion crosses Nuremberg's eastern districts, and the run route goes through Wöhrder Wiese before entering the old town. The finish line is back at Wöhrder See. Deutsche Triathlon organizes the event, offering categories for beginners, seasoned competitors, corporate teams in the Firmencup, and Para Triathlon via a Para Cup. Over 900 athletes have participated in recent years, indicating a substantial city race rather than a small local event.
