Night TRAIL afd. 1 - 2026

Night TRAIL afd. 1 sends runners into Marselisborgskoven after dark for a 5 km or 10 km trail race featuring hills, mud, water, sand, and narrow paths. This is the first event in a six-part autumn and winter series, with each round held on a Wednesday and commencing at 19:00. The routes are selected and scouted by elite orienteering runners, ensuring the course explores parts of the forest unfamiliar to most participants. The course marking is comprehensive, which is important as the primary challenge is running at pace in the dark rather than navigation. Men and women compete in both distances. Prizes are awarded to the top three finishers, and random draw prizes are available. Points are accumulated towards an overall series winner following all six rounds. Post-race, participants convene in the clubhouse for soup, sauna access, and a social conclusion to a cold night in the forest.
