Night TRAIL afd. 4 - 2027

Night TRAIL afd. 4 is one round of a six-race autumn and winter trail series in Marselisborgskovene, just outside central Aarhus. Every round is run on a Wednesday evening with a 7:00 PM start, so runners get the main point of the event straight away: hills, mud, water, sand, narrow trails, and darkness. Each event offers 5 km and 10 km races, with separate men's and women's classes. The start and finish are at the Silistria clubhouse on Ørneredevej in Højbjerg, about 4 km from the centre of Aarhus. The routes are found and tested by top orienteering runners, but they are thoroughly marked, so participants can focus on running instead of navigation. The three fastest runners get prizes, lucky runners can win draw prizes, and points count toward an overall winner after all six rounds. After the race, people gather at the clubhouse for soup, sauna, and time together; parking is limited, so biking, walking, or car sharing is encouraged.
