Nordsjællands Nytårsløb 2026

Nordsjællands Nytårsløb is a New Year’s Eve run in Snekkersten, Denmark, starting and finishing at Snekkersten Hallen. Runners can choose 5 km or 10 km, while anyone wanting a gentler outing can join the 5 km Walk and Talk. There is also a 5 km children and youth category, making the event suitable for families as well as friends and colleagues closing out the year together. The mood is more festive than formal: costumes are part of the day, with a trophy for the best outfit. After the run, participants head indoors for champagne, juice, and kransekage, the Danish New Year’s cake, and raffle prizes are awarded. Entry is capped at 500 start numbers, keeping the race smaller and more local than a large-city mass event.
