Odense Triatlon is a Danish triathlon race calendar held in late spring, with events in Ringe, St. Økssø, Hillerød, and Karlslunde. The programme includes aquathlon, super-sprint triathlon, sprint triathlon, Olympic-distance racing, duathlon, youth draft-legal racing, mixed relay, children’s races, and 1/4 and 1/2 triathlon options. Ringe hosts an opening weekend around Idrætscenter Midtfyn, featuring the long-distance age-group aquathlon with a 1000 m swim and 5 km run, youth mixed relay teams of three, youth draft racing, and elite super-sprint racing.
The courses differ from a standard local triathlon series. The youth mixed relay in Ringe uses a closed route near town, while Ringe Tri Stævne marks 40 years of triathlon in the town. Tri ved Søen at St. Økssø offers family-friendly Saturday distances, then longer races with swimming in the lake, road cycling, and a run around the water. Hillerød Triatlon is open to all levels. Karlslunde adds youth racing at Karlstrup Kalkgrav for athletes aged 14-17, plus age-group sprint championship racing and an Olympic-distance option.
