Peder Skram Løbet 2027

Peder Skram Løbet is Østbirk’s annual running event, based at Østbirk Hallen in central Denmark and usually held in May. It is a local road and path race with several distance options, allowing runners to choose from a short 2.5 km outing to 5 km, 10 km, 19 km, a half marathon, and sometimes a full marathon distance depending on the edition. The routes remain in and around Østbirk, with longer races extending onto quiet country roads and paths surrounding the town. The short distances are intended for children, families, beginners, and anyone seeking a low-pressure run; strollers or running strollers are permitted on these routes. More experienced runners can use the longer distances for a challenging training day, while the event maintains a strong community atmosphere over an elite-only focus.
