Ørestad Halv Marathon - Verdens hurtigeste rute

The Ørestad Half Marathon is a new professional half marathon in Copenhagen. The start and finish are at Naturcenter Amager on Kalvebod Fælled. It is an autumn race with easy metro access, designed around a flat, fast course, not a crowded city-center event. The route connects the open nature of Amager with the modern city edge of Ørestad. Organizers describe it as the world’s flattest and fastest half marathon route. They state it has been documented as faster than the Copenhagen Half Marathon in both calm and windy conditions.
