Σχετικά με τον αγώνα
Rubjerg Knude Løbet begins and ends in Hundelev, a village near the dynamic sand dunes and cliffs of Rubjerg Knude in northern Denmark. This is a trail race offering distances for various abilities and goals: 5 km, 10 km, 15 km, half marathon, marathon, walking routes, and a children's race. The event takes place on natural terrain, not urban streets, meaning the weather, sand, trails, and open landscape shape the race day.
The courses traverse the natural surroundings of Rubjerg Knude and Hundelev. The marathon route has been modified to eliminate repeating identical laps. Families are integral to the event, with dedicated children's races, activities, and a convivial atmosphere. A committed local community organizes the race, with approximately 65 to 70 volunteers stationed throughout the town, at the school, near the finish line, and along the routes. The event attracts many returning participants, a testament to its local organization and attentive hospitality.
