Correndo por Ourense - Centro is the city-centre event in the Correndo por Ourense running series, with races starting from Rúa do Paseo in Ourense at night. The programme is structured around age groups, from a 100-metre Pitufos dash for the youngest children to 5.6 km races for Sub18 runners and adults. The adult Absoluta event is listed as non-competitive, focusing on participation over official rankings. The shorter youth races increase in distance by age: Sub10 and Sub12 run 1 km, while Sub14 and Sub16 run 2.8 km. Children and teenagers can enter for free, while the adult race has a small fee. Bibs are collected in the start and finish area before racing begins.
