San Silvestre de Rocafort is a 5K race held in Rocafort, Valencia, marking the end of the year. Participants, both runners and walkers, begin at Plaza Mayor in the evening and proceed through the town's main streets. This race is free and family-friendly, featuring a costume contest. It is organized by Rocafort Town Council in conjunction with C.A. Rocafort Running. The event also serves as a charity drive for Cáritas Rocafort and the Spanish Association Against Cancer.
The main race accommodates athletes, casual runners, walkers, and individuals with strollers, with a bib limit of up to 2,000 participants. Younger participants under 12 have separate, earlier races starting from C/ Conde de Cirat, near Casa de Ratones, and finishing at Plaza Mayor, where they receive medals and runner bags. Participation is linked to donations; runners can exchange a kilogram of food or hygiene products for a bib. Those registering online can also make small contributions to AECC. This event has reached its twentieth edition. In one past year, the main race saw 1,750 participants, with an additional 425 children in their races, and over 6,000 kilograms of goods were collected.
