Piirin myöntämä kilpailu

Piirin myöntämä kilpailu is an evening track-and-field meet held at Urheilupuisto in Mikkeli, organized by Mikkelin Kilpa-Veikot. The senior men’s and women’s events include the 100 metres, 1500 metres, and high jump. The meet also offers juniors a range of events, from short sprints and hurdles to jumps and throws. The age-group program forms the core of the competition. Under-15 athletes compete in hurdles, high jump, and shot put alongside the sprint and 1500 metres races. Athletes aged 13 and under can participate in sprinting, hurdles, long jump, shot put, and hammer throw. The youngest participants, 9-year-olds, compete in the 40 metres, long jump, and hammer throw. Entries are submitted online, MIKV members compete without a fee via kilpailukalenteri.fi, and race numbers are collected from the office located below the main stand at track level.
