Clermont en Rose

At Clermont en Rose, participants must wear pink, signaling the event's purpose before the race begins. This 5 km road race takes place in Clermont-Ferrand, France, during early October, coinciding with breast cancer awareness season. It functions as a charity event, prioritizing solidarity and community running over competition. The inclusion of children's and junior races makes it suitable for families and casual participants alongside seasoned runners. The 5 km course commences and concludes at Place de Jaude, winding through central Clermont-Ferrand. Runners will traverse the gardens of Jardin Lecoq, pass through Place de la Victoire, Place Delille with its fountain, Place Gilbert-Gaillard, and Square Amadeo before heading back to the starting point. All proceeds benefit local associations supporting individuals affected by breast cancer. The event's official village offers workshops, activities, and sports sessions, with over 300 participants attending the previous edition.
