Le Petit Trail de Noël is a flat holiday trail event in Châteauroux, in the Indre department of France’s Centre-Val de Loire region. It is built around a simple idea: encourage pre-holiday activity, with short races for children and a 7.5 km option for adults or older runners. The event offers solo and duo formats, allowing runners to cover the main distance alone or share it with a partner.
The race list is family-friendly: the youngest children have a free 700 m “trail des lutins,” while the “petits lutins” and “grands lutins” races add free 1.5 km and 1.8 km options. The course has no elevation gain, making the event focus on participation, pacing, and the festive atmosphere rather than climbing. Runners are still expected to follow the event rules and bring the required equipment.
