Triathlon de Veigné

The Triathlon de Veigné takes place in late August in Veigné, Indre-et-Loire, within France’s Centre-Val de Loire region. The main M distance begins with a 1,500-metre river swim, followed by approximately 40 km by bike and about 10 km of running, with minimal elevation gain noted on the course. The event also offers S and XS races, catering to athletes seeking a standard short-course triathlon and those wanting a smaller first race following the summer break. The XS race features a unique format: it is contested as a two-person team time trial instead of a standard individual effort. The M format is limited to 300 participants, maintaining a smaller scale compared to large urban triathlons. Licensed FFTRI athletes register using their licence number, while non-licensed participants require a competition pass, allowing for a mix of club racers and casual triathletes.
