Boscombe 10K

The Boscombe 10K is an annual road race held in November in Bournemouth. It begins and ends at Kings Park Athletics Stadium. The Bournemouth Joggers ladies' running club organises this chip-timed 10K event on undulating open roads. The route is fully marshalled and starts at 10:30am. Runners aged 15 and over are welcome, from experienced local competitors to those running their first 10K. The race is part of the Dorset Road Race League and also serves as a Dorset 10K County Championship race. An Under-17 Dorset League category is included. Facilities are practical, with toilets and refreshments located in the stadium. Entries must be completed before race day, and past events have sold out. All finishers get a medal or memento. A children's fun run takes place before the main 10K.
