Market Harborough Carnival 10K

The Market Harborough Carnival Run is a flat, one-lap road race held in Market Harborough, Leicestershire, as part of the town’s annual summer carnival. It provides the traditional 10km distance and a newer 6km option. The 6km begins and concludes within the Carnival Showground, located in the town centre. The 6km course remains within and near the town centre, utilizing closed roads lined with spectators. It passes the Old Grammar School before a final sprint around the Showground. Participants receive a medal that grants access to the carnival stalls, events, and music. The 10km has consistently sold out early, and the overall event has been fully booked well in advance for several years. This attracts numerous local runners and carnival attendees, distinguishing it from a small, independent race.
