The Running Miles Jubilee River Races begin at the Riverside Centre in Slough, utilizing a 5.24-mile out-and-back loop alongside the Jubilee River. This is a six-hour timed event, allowing participants to finish after one lap, target 10 miles, work towards marathon distance, or continue into ultra distances within the allotted time. The course is flat, wide, and situated on a crushed stone trail, offering a less technical alternative to off-road racing.
The lap proceeds from Slough into the countryside, with the river on one side and fields on the other, leading to the Dorney wetlands before the turnaround point. On the return journey, participants will have views towards Windsor Castle. Phoenix Running is the organizer, and the event's structure is intentionally flexible: all abilities are accepted, a single completed lap is considered a finish, and each finisher will receive a custom medal.
