Badacsony harbor marks the start of this fourth running, shifting the atmosphere from a typical race morning to something akin to a quiet lakeside gathering. Before runners begin checking their watches, they board the Badacsony and Füred catamarans. These vessels then head out onto Lake Balaton, positioning participants to witness the sunrise from the center of the "Hungarian sea," the precise moment "when the stars are replaced by the Sun in the sky." Music plays on both boats, yet the mood remains a blend of waking and dreaming, race bibs in hand.
Upon returning to Badacsony, the sound levels are reduced so as "not to wake the snoozing people of Badacsony," a pre-race courtesy that earns respect. The course primarily follows asphalt, with sections of grass, passing landmarks such as Révfülöp, Ivóka Kertvendéglő, Mindszentkálla, Szentimrepuszta, and continuing towards Káli Lovas Pál Klub in Szentbékkálla. The race center includes families and children, and the final approach to the finish line carries the inviting aroma of breakfast, a welcome sight for runners.
