Gran Fondo Il Lombardia Felice Gimondi is a 109.5-kilometer cycling gran fondo in Italy. It follows part of the route used by Il Lombardia, one of cycling’s monument races. This event is designed for amateur riders seeking to test themselves on roads associated with the professional race. The course features 1,700 meters of climbing, with terrain that shifts between ascents, descents, and steep ramps.
The two main climbs are the Madonna del Ghisallo and the Muro di Sormano. Both are well-known in Italian cycling and are closely linked to the history of Il Lombardia. The event attracts a significant international field; the most recent edition registered 2,200 participants, with approximately 40 percent traveling from outside Italy.
