Sunset Bike la Granfondo delle Pertiche

Sunset Bike la Granfondo delle Pertiche is a mountain bike granfondo held in Forno d'Ono, within the Pertica Bassa region of Brescia province. Polisportiva Pertica Bassa organizes the event, which is part of the Brixia Adventure MTB circuit. The course covers approximately 40 km with about 1,800 meters of elevation gain, presenting a compact yet challenging off-road route rather than an extended flat ride. Participants can preview the marked course beforehand, and a GPX track is available, although certain minor segments are exclusive to race day. The route begins in Forno d'Ono, winding through hamlets and countryside in the Pertiche area. It passes Forno d'Ono, home to a Resistance Museum, then continues past Agriturismo Piane and into Ono Degno, notable for its 14th-century tower house. The course also crosses Presegno and Bisenzio before transitioning to singletrack, forest paths, the Selva and Gardo pastures, and brief paved sections offering respite between demanding off-road segments. Organizers have maintained the course's fundamental layout while implementing minor adjustments to enhance key sections and upkeep.
