The 6-hour race begins at 10:00 AM on the beach and continues until 4:00 PM. The start and finish lines are separate locations. When the final flag is shown, each rider finishes the lap they are currently on. This is a team lap race; the team completing the most laps wins. In case of a tie, the team that crosses the finish line first after the flag is awarded the victory.
The course combines beach riding with mountain bike trail sections and features a bridge. Blue signs indicate the route. Each team member carries a timed start tag, allowing riders to compare laps within their team and view overall standings on a large screen. A lap is considered valid if it passes through three measurement points; missing any point invalidates the lap. Teams can only switch riders in the transition zone located after the finish line. Sports drinks and food are provided there, and the race director oversees rider changes. Overtaking is feasible in multiple areas, though the narrow sections demand caution.
