Streetrace Odiliapeel

Streetrace Odiliapeel sends mountain bikes through buildings, past back gardens, and over a World War II bunker in Odiliapeel. This short urban MTB race, approximately 2 km per lap, has been held annually since 2017. It focuses on speed, obstacles, paved roads, and unpaved sections. The format is a developing discipline in the Netherlands, using village streets and local landmarks instead of a typical forest course. The course navigates through the Countrystore and Manders' Feestzaal, passes gardens on Terraveenplein, and links to the Herperduin area. Riders require quick reflexes and good fitness, as the lap demands rapid action over steady pacing. The race day also features a Ready 2 Race Dikke banden competition for youth, presented by Visma - Lease a Bike, offering younger riders a dedicated event alongside the main streetrace.
