The Gravel Pit

The Gravel Pit is a gravel cycling ride starting at De Roovertsche Leij in Goirle, located in the southern Netherlands near the forest edge. Riders begin immediately on gravel paths, with challenging route choices and a staffed break provided. The course travels through Regte Heide, then into the Brabant and Belgian Kempen, utilizing gravel tracks, local paths, and some newly mapped sections. The ride focuses on exploring the Brabant countryside, not closed-road racing. Post-ride, participants can enjoy beer or other drinks, hamburgers or American-style hotdogs (with vegetarian choices), a campfire, and music.
