Hagebyløpet is a summer running event in Ullevål, Oslo, offering three distances that circle the neighborhood instead of a single standard race format. The shortest is Halsparken rundt, a 500 m children’s race for ages 3 to 7, beginning on the square above the tennis court in Bergsalléen. Engelskmila measures approximately 1600 m and is open to children, youth, adults, seniors, individuals, and families. The longest race is Hagebyen rundt, a timed 5 km for participants aged 11 and up.
The 5 km route follows trails and quiet streets, aligning with Ullevål's garden-city atmosphere rather than a typical city race. Ullevål IL and Hagebybladet organize the event, which is designed for both local families and competitive runners. All participants receive a medal, and prize drawings are held. Damplass contributes to the neighborhood-party atmosphere with food, drinks, and activities for children and youth, including a bouncy castle, balloon clown, face painting, and a speed shot meter.
