Kringsjå Opp is a short hill race in Haugesund, Norway. The main run ascends from Skåredalen school to the finish at Kringsjå seteren. The primary course covers 2.2 km and involves a vertical gain of approximately 170 meters, making it a steep uphill effort rather than a distance event. An 800-meter children's race is also included, commencing at the bridge at the base of the hill.
The event accommodates diverse participants, including children, older runners, competitive athletes, and amateurs. Its motto, “Aktiv kropp, løfter sinnet!”, translates to an active body lifts the mind. The race emphasizes personal challenge on the climb and appreciation of the natural surroundings, with the straightforward point-to-point course highlighting the hill as the central obstacle.
