Totenvikaløpet is a 10 km road race starting at Totenviken school. The course is a flat asphalt path alongside Mjøsa, Norway’s largest lake. It begins in the morning and uses chip timing. There is no maximum time limit, accommodating both fast runners seeking official times and those who prefer to complete the distance at their own pace.
The route is straightforward: participants run out and back on the same 5 km section, involving a single turn. The course is measured to World Athletics, AIMS, and NFIF standards. The race holds World Athletics listing and NFIF Gold road-race certification, ensuring performances are eligible for rankings, records, statistics, and international championship qualification. Bibs are available for collection at the start-finish area on race day, and all finishers will receive a medal.
