Runmageddon ERGO ARENA Gdańsk/Sopot is a September obstacle race weekend held at ERGO ARENA, located on the border between Gdańsk and Sopot. This event is part of Runmageddon, Poland’s largest obstacle-running series. It offers runners multiple formats instead of a single fixed distance: INTRO is 3 km with over 15 obstacles, REKRUT is 6 km with over 30 obstacles, NIGHT REKRUT covers 6 km after dark, and the standard Runmageddon course is 12 km with over 50 obstacles. An INTRO U-16 option is also available for participants under 16. The course incorporates the Tri-City coast, featuring sections on the beach, sandy terrain, park paths near ERGO ARENA, and stretches along the seashore. Some obstacles are placed in the sea, distinguishing it from typical mud-and-wall OCR courses. The programme accommodates families with children, novice OCR runners, corporate teams, and experienced Runmageddon participants, framing the weekend as a comprehensive obstacle-racing festival. Local roads, including ul. Bitwy pod Płowcami and al. Wojska Polskiego, might experience temporary closures for race traffic.
